Use of sea-level projections in planning

DSB’s guidelines Sea Level Rise and High Water Levels in Spatial Planning (only in Norwegian) gives recommendations for how coastal municipalities should adapt to rising sea levels and extreme still water levels. The guidelines are based on the latest national sea level assessment, which draws on the UN Climate Panel’s Sixth Assessment Report. Learn more about the recommended values.
