In the period 2019 - 2025, the Norwegian Coastal Administration will be reorganizing the sectors of around 1900 sector lights in compliance with the standard defined by IALA (International Association of Lighthouse Authorities).
It is of great importance to study the Notice to Mariners carefully, and that all navigational charts are updated. When a pilot is onboard or the ship is passing through a VTS area, it is important to follow their instructions.
